We had the excited first steps. Followed by lots of steps in a row. You saw it on video, as my witness! But then Clara stopped walking entirely for about a week. Nothing, nadda. Wouldn't let go of my fingers without sitting down. Well, yesterday she decided to start walking again. So there, try and figure them out, and, well, it just won't happen.

Hey, that's so funny! Nico did the very same thing--a gap of week or two between his first steps and the beginning of regular walking. My impression was that he freaked himself out a bit and needed some time to adjust to being upright :-)
That's hilarious!! Us humans often have lots in common. I also think that Clara had freaked herself out (maybe had had a tumble that was especially disturbing) and decided she wanted to be sure that she could do it :) Today she has been pushing my hand away to walk on her own! It's such a miracle to watch this milestone
