Wow. We haven't written in a very long time. We just got home last night from being with our family for one whole week. It was pretty wonderful. I don't think Sophie was put down for the entire week. Highlights of the Week included:
*Lots of outdoor walks in the beautiful spring weather (finally spring has sprung!)
*After trying to have a baby for 2 years a good friend found out she is pregnant!!
*Brett surprised us and arrived on Thursday evening (snuck out of work early!)
*Sophie went to church in her first Easter dress (see lowlights as well)
*3 wonderful visits with my mom outside (I was worried we wouldn't be able to see her because of Sophie's cold, but we sat outside and visited)
*lots of visits with family: G, Grandpa, Mom-Mom, Aunt Lynn, Linda's fam, Aunt Barb and Uncle Al
Lowlights of the Week
*Sophie got her first cold. She was up a lot during the night for the first couple of days we were home. Poor bunny couldn't sleep with her nose all plugged up
*Sophie's Easter dress getting (hahumm) 'soiled' during Chris' sermon.
Now back to life in the big smoke. We have busy times ahead getting all packed up for the big move. Our house feels like it's a total mess. Things are everywhere in different piles for garage sale, goodwill, toss and keep. It's not my forte to be living in chaos. Bit by bit we'll get there.
Had a realization last night that in two weeks Sophie will be starting solids. My baby is growing up (yes, those of you with grown children may laugh, but it's true). I can't believe it.

Wow Karen, she is growing up into a proper little person - that picture is wonderful. Glad you had a good week!! I can't wait to follow as you move your wee one! Did I tell you my brother has bought a house? The date is two days after Lindsay is due - heh heh heh.
