The Insider

For those of you who haven't had a chance to visit our new place- here are a few pics. It is tricky to get good photos--because of the size and angles of the room, but thought I'd try anyway.


Here is a picture of a kitchen (complete with dirty dishes) I tried to wait until all the dishes were done, but that day rarely happens, and when it does I never seem to have time to take a picture. It is a small little room, but very efficiently designed--we're really happy with it!


















This next shot is also of the kitchen, but is the view of the side deck from our kitchen table. (not a great photo). I love having the sliding door (which we also have in the toy room). It allows for lots of light and also lots of fresh air On the left side of the kitchen table you might be able to see a mirror--Sophie loves to look at herself and make faces when she's eating her solids.

Here is Sophie's room---one small corner of it. This is where the biggest transformation has happened. The last people who lived here used her room as a storage area, where they kept their bikes, etc. It's really tiny, but is a really cozy little nook for our girl. We now have our crib, but I took these photos before that happened. More to come in the 2nd photo shoot!















This is our dining room. The previous owner was an architect, and he made some really interesting decisions (almost all really good!) when he renovated the house. The little wall leading into the kitchen we are planning on knocking down, to open up the kitchen.
