This morning we had a wonderfully impromptu morning with G. I found a great back-roads route to her house, and it only took about 10 or 15 mins to bike there.
The girls are so happy to be there because:
1) they are totally loved and loved and loved
2) there are lots of fresh toys (including the infamously nauseating 'tickle me Elmo')
3) furry creatures to chase, feed and kiss (aka torment)
4) lots of hands-on focused attention time with their G (reading, drawing, games)
Mornings like today still make me pinch myself that we live in the same city.
