News Flash

Last night Sophie crawled!! She made her way from one end of the bed to the other. She only did about 3 little steps at a time, with some 'freestyle' moves added in, but she moved both her arms and her legs and it was a whole pile of cuteness. This morning she did some more--same kind of thing, and of course by the time I called Brett she had stopped (very Snuffalupagus). In addition to the traditional crawl she is also using some 'non-conventional' approaches--like throwing herself forward, pulling herself on her belly by her fingers, and inching on her belly. Too funny. It will be interesting to see if this continues, or if she was just trying it out once or twice (as she often does with things), gives it a rest, and comes back to it a month or so later. I'm sensing my life of leisure is coming to a close.
