MORE Chicken Dance Elmo!

This little critter is responsible for teaching my offspring how to sign 'more'. After countless episodes of tickles, kisses, and peek-a-boo games with her mama in attempt for a 'more' sign, this little electronic gizmo taught Sophie to sign in about 10 seconds flat.

Chicken Dance Elmo (which more appropriately should have been Turkey Dance Elmo for Thanksgiving) was banned from my sister's house after it was given as a gift several years ago. Those of you who have heard this 'poultry friend' will understand the reason for the ban. My sister placed it in the 'pawn off to little sister' pile. We graciously passed it on to Sophie's G, figuring that grandparents need obnoxious toys that kids love. Sure enough, Elmo is Sophie's new best friend. When we go back home this weekend I'm going to try and get a video clip--she does the cutest little upper body dance while he sings. And then signs 'more' when he finishes. I'll admit, it is kinda catchy.

You have to know that Auntie V is very attached to Elmo too and has her own Elmo-dance version! They might be fighting over him this weekend. I wonder if V knows the sign for more!?
