Ugg the Flu

We've had our first family flu. Yuck. On Thursday we put Sophie down for her afternoon nap and she woke up with a 101 degree fever! It was so weird, because she was absolutely fine before her nap! She had a fever for the rest of Thurs, Fri, Sat, and even yesterday. She hasn't eaten anything, has been nursing around the clock, and really out of sorts. Wendy was here for the weekend, and it was perfect timing (for us that is!).
We took her to a children's walk-in on Sat. a.m. where they checked her and she didn't have an ear infection. Not fun sitting in a room with 14 other sick little monkeys.
On Sat/Sun. I started feeling crummy too (couldn't get warm, achy). Last night when Brett came home I had a LONG soak in the tub, and got into bed at 7:30pm. We ended up having a little bundle in bed with us, but this morning we all seemed to wake up feeling much better. Sophie had a huge oatmeal breakfast--yay. It has seemed to end as quickly as it began :).
